Happy birthday Jalen!

Yesterday we celebrated Jalen's 9th birthday. It's hard to believe how much she's grown in such a short period of time. What's even harder to believe is how fast 9 years have gone by. I'm feeling old just thinking about it. Anyway I digress (love saying that). Jalen spent her birthday at a water park not too far from where we're staying. Later that night we went out to dinner in Ocean City. The following photos from that night were not taken by me. The first 3 are done by Yansford and the last one done by Jalen.

I haven't had much of a summer vacation yet. there was only a 5 day break in between the 1st and 2nd sessions. However I am taking a week and  half off and staying at Rehoboth Delaware with my family. I haven't shot anything digitally yet, so you'll have to wait to see what's happening here. BUT you do get to see the shenanigans from Chris's barbecue two nights ago.

okay so I know I wrote i'll be posting pictures from the maloof money cup, but There are literally over 2 thousand images for me to go through and edit together and what not, and I'm in the middle of writing a research paper for my commercial photo seminar so you'll just have to wait for those. Instead i'll post some rejects from the shoot with Steve that was brought up last time. It was a very messy day, but with Steve it's not really a good time without a little destruction. Quick side note I cut my hair today and i kinda look like rick ross with the bald head and big beard, hence the title of this post.

After a shoot with Steve in which he was covered in blue and green paint Harry came up with the genius idea that he should go outside and try to scare people. And well Steve's got some massive cajones. I'll post the photos from the shoot after the semester's over.

so i haven't uploaded any images in a while because I've been shooting ALOT with my seagull tlr and I have fallen in love with it. this morning I decided to lug around my d90 and it felt so awkward to carry around. I'm still learning how to figure out exposures without a light meter but it hasn't been going too bad so far. so i'm going to upload just about everything I have shot with it.
